By accessing or using this website (thecypressalexandria.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
2. About This Website
This website is owned and operated on behalf of The Cypress Landing Hotel & Conference Center, located at 2720 N MacArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA 71303. The Cypress Landing is owned by CENLA Hospitality, LLC and managed by Advanced Hospitality Services, LLC.
3. Reservations, Deposits & Cancellation Policy
For regular reservations booked at our standard rate, we will preauthorize your credit card on the day of arrival for the full value of the reservation (up to 7 nights), plus a refundable deposit of $50 ($250 for local guests). A preauthorization is a temporary hold placed on your card to confirm funds are available — it is not an actual charge, and no funds are withdrawn from your account. The hold is released once your stay concludes, though timing depends on your card-issuing bank.
For advance purchase reservations, full payment for the entire stay is collected at the time of booking, along with a refundable deposit preauthorization of $50 ($250 for local guests). This deposit is preauthorized at check-in and released at check-out.
Advance purchase and non-refundable reservations cannot be cancelled. All other reservations may be cancelled up to 24 hours before check-in time on the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations made after this window, or failure to arrive ("no-show"), will result in a charge equal to one night's room rate. Group and event bookings are subject to separate deposit and cancellation terms outlined in your event contract.
4. Age Requirement
Guests checking in must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
5. Payment & Incidental Charges
At check-in, your credit card will be preauthorized as described above. A preauthorization is a temporary hold to confirm available funds — it is not an actual charge, and no money is withdrawn from your account at that time. Final payment for your room and applicable taxes is charged at check-out. Incidental charges during your stay may also be preauthorized and are finalized at check-out.
6. Pet Policy
Pets under 80 lbs are welcome for a one-time fee of $75 (stays of 1–6 nights) or $150 (stays of 7+ nights), maximum 2 pets per room. Pets may not be left unattended, must be leashed in public areas, and are not permitted in the breakfast area. Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused by their pet(s), which may be charged to the card on file.
7. Smoking, Parties & Property Damage
The Cypress Landing is a 100% non-smoking property. A minimum $300 fee applies if this policy is violated. Parties are not permitted in guest rooms; violation may result in immediate removal from the property without refund, in addition to a minimum $300 damage/cleaning fee.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cypress Landing, CENLA Hospitality, LLC, and Advanced Hospitality Services, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your stay, your use of this website, or your reliance on information provided on this website. The Cypress Landing is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises, except as required by Louisiana law. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the fitness center and pool area at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool; swimming is at your own risk. Use of the fitness center is also at your own risk.
9. Force Majeure
The Cypress Landing shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, government action, power outages, or other emergencies.
10. Photography & Recording
Guests may not photograph or record other guests without consent. The Cypress Landing reserves the right to use general property photography for marketing purposes; guest images will not be used without permission. The Cypress Landing may record video and audio on the property for training and safety purposes.
11. Guest Conduct & Property Policies
Guests agree to comply with all posted property policies, including but not limited to the non-smoking policy, pet policy, pool and fitness center rules, and prohibition on unauthorized parties in guest rooms, as detailed on our Policies & FAQ page.
12. Website Use
This website and its content (text, images, logos) are the property of The Cypress Landing / CENLA Hospitality, LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.
13. Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to third-party sites (such as our booking engine, Mews) and Contact/inquiry forms sent to our team. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all content (including room availability, pricing, or local area information) is error-free or current at all times.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Cypress Landing, CENLA Hospitality, LLC, and Advanced Hospitality Services, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms & Conditions or misuse of this website.
16. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, your reservation, or your stay shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, administered by a neutral arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitrator within thirty (30) days of the initial arbitration demand, either party may petition a court of competent jurisdiction in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, to appoint a neutral arbitrator, who shall conduct the proceedings in accordance with the commercial arbitration standards of the State of Louisiana. You and The Cypress Landing each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small claims court where permitted. This clause does not limit either party's right to seek injunctive relief where appropriate.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
